Message from Commander Tom Cousino

Commander Salina Norton

Greetings! I am Tom Cousino. I served in the United States Army from 1988 to 1992. I was stationed state-side and overseas in Germany. I have a BA in English from Portland State University, and have been a member of Portland Chapter #1 since 2000.
I see the DAV as the leader in the fight for veterans’ rights. My goal is to bring in a new generation of disabled veterans to continue taking care of our aging veterans. As you new Commander, I hope to inspire others to be more involved in activities that benefit veterans. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve this great organization. I look forward to seeing you at our monthly Chapter meetings!
